Born in Transylvania, Romania. BSc in Physical Chemistry from Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca, Romania in 2002, having Prof. Dr. Ing. Adrian Nicoara as a thesis advisor. MSc in Organometallic and Coordination Chemistry from the same university one year later, while working as an Erasmus exchange student at the University of Bremen, Germany, having Prof. Dr. Cristian Silvestru and Prof. Dr. H.J. Breunig as thesis advisors. Scientific Researcher at University of Bremen, Germany, between 2005-2006, in Prof. Dr. H.J. Breunig’s group. PhD student/Scientific Researcher at Technische Universitaet Muenchen, Chair of Inorganic Chemistry, between 2006-2009, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. W.A. Herrmann and Prof. Dr. Fritz E. Kuehn.
